Soon Kirov will get wet: weather forecast for three days
The Kirov Center for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring has published a detailed weather forecast for the regional center for the next three days. According to the duty forecaster S.A. Kasyanova, the weather conditions on Sunday and the beginning of the week will differ significantly.
On Sunday, August 23, cloudy weather with clearings is expected in Kirov. No precipitation is forecasted for this day, neither during the night nor during the day. The nighttime air temperature will be +10…+12°C, and the daytime temperature will be +21…+23°C. The wind regime will change throughout the day: at night, a northwestern and western wind will blow at a speed of 3–8 m/s, during the day its direction will shift to southeast and south, and the speed will increase to 6–11 m/s.
Starting Monday, August 24, the weather will change. Cloudy weather with brief rain is forecasted both at night and during the day. The temperature background will remain almost at the same level: at night +14…+16°C, during the day +21…+23°C. The wind will maintain a southern and southeastern direction with gusts up to 10–11 m/s.
On Tuesday, August 25, precipitation will continue: brief rain is expected at night, and light rain during the day. The cloud cover will be complete at night and with clearings during the day. At the same time, the temperature will drop slightly: at night +12…+14°C, during the day +19…+21°C. The wind will shift to the southwest, with a speed of 4–9 m/s at night and 6–11 m/s during the day.
It should be noted that the forecast for the Kirov region as a whole is similar but with some differences. For instance, on Sunday, light nighttime rain is possible in some areas of the region, and the daytime temperature may reach +25°C. On Monday afternoon, thunderstorms are not ruled out in certain areas of the region, while this phenomenon is not forecasted for Kirov. The range of nighttime temperatures across the region is wider: from +9°C to +16°C on different days, while daytime values fluctuate from +19°C to +26°C.
