In the Kirovo-Chepetsk district, two lost mushroom pickers were rescued in a day.
In a day, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Kirovo-Chepetsk" went out twice to search for residents of the area who got lost while mushroom picking. The first case occurred near the village of Karin Torf. A 13-year-old teenager went into the forest. On the same day, assistance was needed for a 68-year-old pensioner who lost his bearings near the village of Musniki. Both mushroom pickers had mobile phones and were able to report the incident to the police. Law enforcement officers calmed them down over the phone and asked them not to leave the place where they were. After that, the police arrived at the presumed mushroom gathering spots in service vehicles and began to sound signals. Hearing them, the teenager and the pensioner were able to find their way out of the forest on their own. The police helped both mushroom pickers get home.
