      Recently, residents of an apartment building located on Builders Avenue in Kirov contacted the fire service. They reported a strong smell of burning coming from a neighbor's apartment. At that time, the woman was supposed to be at home, but she did not respond to calls or knocks on the door.

      Arriving at the scene, the emergency services personnel forced open the front door and entered the apartment. It turned out that the owner had fallen asleep in the room, forgetting to turn off the gas stove where she was cooking chicken. As a result, a fire broke out.

      Firefighters extinguished the fire, opened the windows for ventilation, and called an ambulance for the woman, who had inhaled smoke.
