The budget admission to colleges has ended: 2.2 million applications were submitted through State Services.
The main stage of admission to budget places in colleges and technical schools ended on August 15. According to the Ministry of Digital Development, during the campaign, 2.2 million applications were submitted through the State Services portal. This accounted for about 70% of the total number of documents. The indicator for this year shows a 30% increase compared to the same period last year. In addition, the number of applications submitted through State Services in 2026 has already exceeded the total number of applications for the entire previous admission campaign by 26%. The service for submitting documents for targeted training was also in demand — nearly 74,000 people used it. The increase compared to last year was 30%. The first application for budget places was recorded on June 20 at 00:02. It was submitted by a 9th-grade graduate who chose the specialty "Physical Education" at the Khanty-Mansiysk Technological and Pedagogical College. The last application was received on August 15 at 23:58 at the Anapa Industrial Technical School for the specialty "Maintenance and Repair of Motor Vehicles." On average, there were 2.5 applications per applicant. The most in-demand specialties included: law, software development and management, nursing, medical care, tourism, and hospitality. To choose an educational institution, applicants used the "College Selection" service on State Services — it was utilized by 550,000 people. The leaders in the number of submitted applications were St. Petersburg, Sverdlovsk Region, Moscow, Moscow Region, and Novosibirsk Region. The admission campaign continues. Documents can be submitted for paid departments: for full-time studies — until November 25, for part-time and distance learning — until December 1.
