Rospotrebnadzor has blocked more than 34,000 websites with banned dietary supplements.

      According to Rospotrebnadzor, as of today, over 34,000 internet sites have been blocked in Russia for disseminating information about the retail sale of dietary supplements, the sale of which is prohibited in the country. Among the blocked resources are pages that offered products without state registration, including "fat burners in pills for weight loss," as well as dangerous supplements, such as "NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide)." Daily, Rospotrebnadzor employees review advertisements, product cards, and pages of online stores. The work of identifying and blocking prohibited dietary supplements is carried out on an ongoing basis. The agency recommends purchasing dietary supplements only from official suppliers and to always check for the presence of registration documents.
