The former head of the Podosinovsky district has passed away.
Recently, the honorary citizen of the Podosиновский district, labor veteran Vladimir Kolmogortsev, passed away. This was reported by the local administration.
Kolmogortsev was born in 1942 in the Arkhangelsk region in a peasant family. He graduated from a vocational school and served in the army. He worked at the Kotlassky pulp and paper mill and at the Knyazhpogostsky fiberboard plant. Alongside his work, he obtained a higher education.
In 1978, Kolmogortsev moved to the Podosиновский district, where he dedicated himself to the development of local industry and management. He worked at the Podosиновский timber processing plant and at the timber processing mill. From 1991 to 1997, he held the position of head of the administration, and from 1997 to 2000, he served as the head of the district and chairman of the district Duma.
Vladimir Alexandrovich received a copyright certificate for the invention "Mass for the production of fiberboard." His work and achievements were recognized with numerous awards.
