Every third Kirov resident hides their job search from their boss.
According to the service "SuperJob," 72% of economically active residents of Kirov had to look for a new job before leaving their previous one. Another 28% of respondents do not follow this practice and first resign before starting to look for a new position.
Residents of Kirov over the age of 35 prefer to combine work with the search for a new job more often. Among those with higher education, 75% do this, while among those with secondary vocational education, it is 68%.
At the same time, more affluent citizens are less willing to resign without a new offer. Among those whose income exceeds 100,000 rubles per month, 66% of respondents are ready to look for a job only after resigning. Among respondents with lower incomes, this figure is 78%.
Most Kirov residents who are looking for a new job without resigning from their old one do not hide this from their employer — 56% answered this way. However, 30% admitted that they intentionally do not inform their superiors about their job search.
Men do this slightly more often than women — 32% versus 28%. Residents over the age of 45 also hide their job search more often — 34% compared to 26% among younger respondents. Among Kirov residents with higher education, 35% are secretly looking for a new job, while among those with secondary vocational education, it is 24%.
Confidential job searches are most common among residents with an income of 100,000 to 150,000 rubles per month. At the same time, Kirov residents with higher or lower incomes are less likely to try to hide their career plans from management.
