In Kirov, control over illegal dumps near container sites will be strengthened.

      The regional operator reported a problem with illegal dumps near container sites in Kirov. Piles of garbage appear especially often on the outskirts of the city and along major roads. One such address is the site in the Sannikov settlement on Prichalnaya Street, 11. Containers are emptied there according to a schedule, but garbage reappears nearby within 24–48 hours. A significant portion of the waste consists of construction debris and concrete, dismantled structures, car tires, branches, and tree stumps. Such waste does not fall under solid municipal waste and should not be stored at a regular container site. According to the regional operator, the location of the site away from residential buildings also contributes to the emergence of illegal dumps. Unscrupulous carriers and private individuals may bring waste there, hoping to remain unnoticed. The site in Sannikov has also become one of the addresses being checked by volunteers from the ecological movement "Ecosystem" as part of raids to monitor the condition of container sites. For the most problematic areas, they plan to install surveillance cameras and informational signs warning about the responsibility for illegal waste dumping. Residents who witness such violations are urged to document what is happening, record the vehicle number, and pass the information to supervisory authorities.
