The All-Russian Hockey League has published the game schedule for the 2026-2027 season. Kirov-Chepetsk's "Olympia" will start on Thursday, September 3, with a home match against SKA-VMF (Saint Petersburg).
Interesting facts about the upcoming championship:
The number of teams has decreased from 32 to 30. "Torpedo-Gorky" (Nizhny Novgorod), HC "Rostov" (Rostov-on-Don), and HC "Chelny" (Naberezhnye Chelny) have withdrawn from the tournament. There is one newcomer - HC "Kaluga".
In the regular championship, each team will play 58 matches (two with each opponent - at home and away).
The tournament will last until March 18, and the playoff series will start on March 22.
All teams are divided into groups based on geographical location and transport logistics. This will allow for the formation of optimal routes that clubs and fans will follow during the regular championship. "Olympia" will be joined by "Izhevsk", "Toros", and "Molot".
