The prosecutor's office of the Svechinsky district supported the state prosecution in the criminal case against a local resident. The woman was found guilty of evading alimony payments.
As the court established, from April to November 2025, the able-bodied woman failed to transfer money for the maintenance of her minor children without valid reasons. At the same time, she was aware of the court's decision that obligated her to pay alimony.
During this period, the woman's debt exceeded 1.1 million rubles.
The court found the 40-year-old resident of the district guilty and sentenced her to six months of compulsory labor. Part of the woman's earnings will be withheld for the benefit of the state.
She will serve her sentence in the correctional center of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia for the Kirov region.
