Bastrikin took control of the criminal case regarding the closed FAP in Luza.
Alexander Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region, Sultan Orazayev, to report on the progress and results of the investigation into the criminal case, as well as on the measures being taken to ensure citizens' rights to receive medical assistance.
The reason for the head of the agency's intervention was reports in the media and social networks about the situation in the neighborhoods of Lesobirzh №3 and №4 in the city of Luza. According to the investigation, the existing paramedic and obstetric points there have not been operational for more than 10 years. Local residents are forced to travel independently to a medical facility located at a significant distance from their homes.
The Investigative Committee's release notes that last year, after numerous appeals from citizens to various authorities, mobile medical consultations were organized in one of the neighborhoods. However, this year they ceased due to the dismissal of the paramedic. According to the agency's message, the medical worker was denied special transportation and reimbursement of travel expenses.
The execution of the instruction is also under control at the central office of the agency.
