A new gas boiler house has begun construction in Slobodskoy.
In Slobodskoy, construction has begun on block-module gas boiler house No. 16 on Korto Street. The contractor has already cleared the site and started excavating the ground for the foundation. In the coming month, the pouring of concrete foundations is planned.
The new facility will be located next to the existing oil boiler house. According to the project, it will operate in fully automatic mode — without the constant presence of personnel. The launch is scheduled for the end of 2026.
The boiler house is expected to provide heating and hot water to 19 apartment buildings and two kindergartens in the Nikolai Kvakin microdistrict.
According to Sergey Beresnev, the director of the Kirov branch of "T Plus," four more oil boiler houses in Slobodskoy will be replaced with gas ones in 2027. The work is being carried out with the support of the federal budget.
Recall that on July 22, during a meeting of the Legislative Assembly committee, deputies discussed the gasification of boiler houses in Slobodskoy and Kotel'nich. At that time, the Minister of Energy and Housing and Utilities, Maxim Gornostayev, reported that in 2026, it is planned to convert boiler house No. 16 to gas. In total, the gasification of five facilities in Slobodskoy is scheduled until 2028, while the others are expected to switch to gas by 2030.
