Five unauthorized dumps have been eliminated in the forests of the Kirov region.

      Recently, employees of the Ministry of Forestry of the Kirov Region discovered and eliminated five unauthorized dumps during a patrol in the territory of the Lyangasovsky forestry. The total volume of waste removed amounted to 53.4 cubic meters. Among the garbage were car tires, plastic, glass, polyethylene bags, old boards, and window frames. The work was carried out as part of the state program "Environmental Protection, Reproduction, and Use of Natural Resources." Since 2022, systematic work has been organized in the region to clean up dumps in the forests. During this time, 193 dumps have been eliminated with a total volume of over 12.3 thousand cubic meters. Additionally, on August 3, the government of the Kirov Region announced plans to eliminate four old settlement dumps in the Kirovo-Chepetsk, Orlovsky, Falen, and Kilmiz districts for a total amount of 16.7 million rubles. At that time, the contractors became known: in the Kirovo-Chepetsk district (village of Begichi), the dump will be eliminated by the company "ComfortPlus" for 3.7 million rubles; in the Orlovsky district (village of Vereteya) — Alexander Ryabov for 3.6 million rubles; in the Falen district (village of Verkhusunye) — Pavel Lekomtsev for 8.7 million rubles; in the Kilmiz district (village of Bolshoy Porek) — again "ComfortPlus." Also, 9.1 million rubles have been allocated for the reclamation of the landfill in Lebyazhye, with the work being carried out by LLC "Dest Engineering."
