More than 6,000 teenagers found jobs during the summer holidays in the Kirov region.

      In the Kirov region this summer, more than 6,000 teenagers found temporary jobs with the assistance of employment centers. This was reported by the press service of the regional government. According to regional authorities, in 2026, 564 employers are offering jobs for minors. Currently, there are more than 1,300 vacancies available for teenagers aged 14 to 18. Most often, schoolchildren are employed as assistants to educators, counselors, administrators, laboratory assistants, animal breeders, librarians, and in other positions. Teenagers are most actively employed in Kirov, as well as in the Vyatskopolyansky, Kirovochepetsky, Kumensky, Verkhnekamsky, Urzhumsky, Orlovsky, Yuryansky, Yaran, Slobodsky, and Soviet districts. In addition to the salary paid by the employer, teenagers receive additional financial support from the employment center. Currently, this amounts to 5,000 rubles for a fully worked month. In total, in the first half of 2026, about 17,000 teenagers were engaged in various forms of employment in the region. In addition to official employment, schoolchildren undergo internships, participate in socially useful work, and work under civil law contracts.
