On Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, there will be comprehensive checks of drivers on the roads of Kirov and the surrounding areas. The preventive measures are organized by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Kirov region.
In the raids, representatives of public patrols, civic activists, and members of the public organization "Night Patrol" will participate alongside police officers.
The State Traffic Inspectorate reminded that driving a vehicle while intoxicated is a serious violation of traffic rules. This carries an administrative fine of 45,000 rubles, as well as a suspension of driving rights for a period of one and a half to two years.
In addition, the agency noted that all patrol cars of the traffic police are equipped with video recorders. This allows for the recording of actions by both police officers and road users, which helps to avoid conflict situations and prevent possible corruption violations.
