In the Kirov region, an initiative has emerged to lift the restrictions imposed due to the fuel crisis. The proposal was made by a group of citizens who sent a corresponding plan to the operational headquarters.
As the head of the initiative group, Andrey Ronzhin, explained, the authors suggest gradually lifting the restrictions as the situation stabilizes.
"First, lift the 'even/odd' regime, then the limits on fuel sales. It is important that by September 1, gas stations in the region can return to their normal operating mode," the appeal states.
According to Ronzhin, fuel supplies to the region are increasing, queues at gas stations are decreasing, and the situation is generally stabilizing. Additionally, other regions have already begun to lift previously imposed restrictions, he added.
The initiators also note that by September, the vacation season will end, preparations for the new school year will begin, and business and transportation activity will increase. In their opinion, people should have the opportunity to refuel their vehicles without restrictions.
At the same time, Ronzhin emphasized that the fuel market needs to be continuously monitored—keeping an eye on the availability of gasoline, queues, and prices, to ensure the situation does not revert to a crisis.
"It is naturally not so simple to just let this go. We need to watch closely," he noted.
