      Today, April 4, early in the morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported a fire on Zavodskaya Street: premises for processing secondary raw materials caught fire. As a result, the fire was localized over an area of 480 square meters. There were no casualties. The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Kirov Region determined the cause of the ignition — a short circuit in the electrical wiring. The fire damaged three extensions to the building with equipment for processing plastic secondary raw materials. Currently, an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

      In Kirov, a house burned down at the Consumer Cooperative; in Murashi, the industrial zone area was on fire, and in Zuevka, a minibus was involved in an accident. The number of fatalities in fires in the Kirov Region has decreased by 26%.
