The authorities of Kirovo-Chepetsk reported the resumption of traffic on the bridge in Karintorf.
Yesterday morning, July 18, the head of the Kirovo-Chepetsk administration, Igor Gagarinov, announced that he had signed a decree to open traffic on the floating bridge to the Karintorf microdistrict. According to him, by 9 a.m. the water level in the Cheptsa River had dropped to 107.95 meters. This allowed the resumption of vehicle traffic on the bridge. However, only passenger cars can pass there for now — vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons are still unable to cross. In the comments, one user wrote that as of 3 p.m. on July 18, there were still prohibitory signs on the bridge, and the barricade blocks had not been completely removed. It is unknown whether they are still there now.
