Train travel from Kirov to Moscow has increased by 14%.
The passenger flow of long-distance trains heading to Moscow has increased on the Gorky Railway. The greatest dynamics were recorded in Kirov.
From January to May, 158.5 thousand passengers traveled from Kirov to Moscow — 14% more than the previous year. The city on the Vyatka River is connected to the capital by 16 direct and transit trains.
In comparison, in the first six months of 2026, 723.3 thousand people traveled by train from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow. The passenger flow increased by 5.2%. There are 27 direct and transit trains operating between the cities.
From Izhevsk to Moscow, 68.7 thousand passengers traveled — 6.6% more than the previous year. Four trains operate between the cities.
The passenger flow from Kazan to Moscow amounted to 352.8 thousand people, remaining approximately at last year's level. The capital of Tatarstan is connected to Moscow by 16 trains.
Due to increased demand from July to September 2026, Russian Railways has appointed additional trains No. 205/206 and No. 273/274 on the Kazan — Moscow route, as well as No. 201/202 on the Izhevsk — Moscow route.
Tickets can be purchased through the "RZD Passengers" app, on the RZD website, and at railway station ticket offices.
