In the Kirov region, there is a high fire hazard. Against the backdrop of hot weather, the risk of fires increases, including at container sites. As reported by AO "Kuprit," since the beginning of May, fire has already destroyed 10 containers for solid municipal waste.
The regional operator reminded that it is prohibited to throw smoldering waste, unextinguished cigarette butts, pour flammable liquids, and store hot ash that has not completely cooled in garbage containers.
The company notes that container sites are often located near residential buildings, trees, and parked cars. Therefore, even a small spark can lead to a serious fire, damage property, and pose a threat to people.
If residents notice a fire in the containers or smoldering waste at the site, the regional operator recommends immediately reporting it by calling 101, the contact center of AO "Kuprit" at 8 (8332) 63-16-11, or the unified dispatch service at 8 (8332) 76-00-00.
