A creative eco-party with plastic recycling and secondary raw materials will take place in Kirov.
The event will be another meeting in a format that has already become popular with visitors to the ecological center. The organizers propose to combine creativity, new knowledge, and a conversation about responsible waste management.
This time, the main theme of the meeting will be plastic. Participants will learn what lies behind the labeling of polymers, how to distinguish safe materials from potentially hazardous ones, and why caring about recycling starts at the stage of purchasing goods.
The program includes a lecture titled "Polymers: what are they, where to find them, and what to do with them?" It will be conducted by Evgenia Shirokova, a candidate of chemical sciences and associate professor of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Polymer Recycling at VyatSU.
In addition, guests will be able to participate in a workshop on creating eco-postcards from recycled paper and other elements of secondary raw materials. The practical part will focus on the use of plastic caps: participants will make stamps from them, which will become part of the finished works.
The eco-party will take place on July 24 at 16:00 at the ecological center of AO "Kuprit" at the address: Vsesvyatskaya Street, 64. Registration can be done via the link.
