In the village of Karavannoe, they have been unable to restore water supply for the third month.
Residents of the village of Karavannoe in the Tuzhinsky district have been experiencing water supply disruptions for the third month. More than 50 people live in the village.
The problems began in May. In June, the administration introduced a water supply schedule — from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, so that the water tower could fill up at night. However, this did not help: water flows in a thin stream and runs out within an hour.
Local authorities signed a contract with a contractor to flush the well and asked residents to be patient until June 29. The work was done, but the situation did not improve. It is impossible to use household appliances.
Water delivery has been organized, but it is insufficient. The water distribution column on the street is not working. Over the past six months, the village has replaced the pump, installed a hydroaccumulator, and fixed leaks in four places — but the situation has not changed.
Residents have turned to the People's Front. The head of the regional branch, Valeria Cheremisina, stated that the district needs help: there is a lack of equipment and specialists. She called on the Kirov region government to investigate the situation and help find resources to solve the problem.
In addition, the People's Front has sent an appeal to the prosecutor's office regarding the provision of water supply services of inadequate quality. Residents have the right to a recalculation of fees.
