In Kirov, a woman fell from a windowsill while working.

      In the Verkhnekamsky District of the Kirov Region, the State Labor Inspection conducted an unscheduled on-site inspection following a serious accident involving a technical worker. According to the agency, the woman was washing a window on the first floor. During her work, she climbed onto a slippery windowsill, lost her balance, and fell onto the asphalt from a height of about 130 centimeters. The injured woman sustained serious injuries.

      After the incident, inspectors checked the employer and identified violations of labor protection requirements. As specialists established, 13 employees were allowed to work independently without the necessary training and knowledge verification in labor protection.

      Moreover, the employer lacked a regulation on the labor protection management system, documents for identifying workplace hazards, assessing professional risks, and measures to mitigate them, as well as risk assessment cards for workstations.

      The State Labor Inspection reported that the employer was issued an order to eliminate all identified violations. The issue of holding the organization and officials administratively accountable is also being considered.
