According to the police, the report of the missing pensioner came after the woman left in an unknown direction from the Novy microdistrict. A relative briefly left her alone to go to the store, and upon returning, found the pensioner missing. The woman had neither a mobile phone nor documents with her. Additionally, due to her age, she may have been disoriented. Independent searches yielded no results, after which the relatives contacted the police. The personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Kirov were directed to search for the missing person. Initially, the officers searched the private sector of the microdistrict, then expanded the search area. Eventually, the pensioner was found on Lenin Street, near the infectious disease hospital. As noted by the police, no unlawful actions were committed against the woman. After being found, she was taken home. "I want to express my immense gratitude to the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Kirov, who demonstrated professionalism in searching for my mother. I ask that our sincere appreciation for their work be conveyed to them," wrote the pensioner's daughter in a statement.
