      In the past 24 hours, on July 6, five fires occurred in the Kirov region. We previously reported on one of them — in the village of Karinka in the Kirovo-Chepetsk district, a house caught fire due to an unextinguished cigarette, resulting in one death.

      Another fire occurred in the "Veteran" gardening association in the Kirovo-Chepetsk district. There, the fire engulfed a garden house. The roof, attic, extension, and property were burned, and the walls and ceiling were scorched over an area of 18 square meters. The likely cause of the fire is a malfunction of electrical equipment.

      In the village of Vakhryushi in the Slobodsky district, a mixed goods store caught fire on Lenin Street. As a result, the polycarbonate awning of the store was scorched over an area of 0.5 square meters. The presumed cause is careless handling of fire.

      In the village of Verkhoshizhemye on 60 Years of October Street, a two-apartment residential building was ablaze. The porch and wall of the veranda were scorched over an area of 10 square meters. The likely cause is a malfunction of electrical equipment.
