Kirov men use bike sharing more actively than women.
The main audience of kicksharing services in the Kirov region is men, who account for 76%. Women use kicksharing and bike rentals significantly less often.
The most active users of the services are Kirov residents aged 35-44 (38%). Another 33% belong to the age category of 25-34 years. The share of residents aged 45 to 54 years is 15%, while the youth aged 18-24 years account for 13%. Older Kirov residents (55+) also use kicksharing, but their share is about 1%.
In the all-Russian ranking, Kirov residents are more relaxed about such means of transportation. Moscow, the Krasnodar Territory, and St. Petersburg are at the top of the regions by the number of residents renting city scooters. Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk, and Nizhny Novgorod also made it to the top of the ranking.
Meanwhile, there are noticeable differences in the gender composition of users across regions. The highest share of women among city scooter users is recorded in the Volgograd (30%), Penza (29%), and Bryansk regions (28%). The highest share of men is in the Novosibirsk (82%) and Chelyabinsk regions (81%).
To make scooter rides a profitable and comfortable choice, MegaFon has created the "5G MegaCity" option with access to Whoosh. Subscribers will receive up to 60 free starts per month on scooters, up to 20 minutes of free booking, and welcome Whoosh points: 300 for newcomers and 100 for experienced users. The Whoosh app for option clients will remain available even if the gigabytes under the tariff run out. Additionally, it includes accelerated mobile internet in 4G networks, an additional mobile internet package — +25 to the base tariff, as well as 100 additional SMS.
