Parents submitted 70% of applications for first grades through State Services.
The first stage of enrollment in the first grades has been completed. According to the Ministry of Digital Development, in regions where the corresponding service is available, 840,000 applications have been submitted through the State Services portal. This is 70% of the total number of applications submitted to schools in the first stage. A year ago, this figure was 52%.
The admission campaign took into account the assigned territories and preferential categories. Each school set its own dates for opening enrollment, but no later than April 1. The earliest start was recorded in Norilsk, and the latest in the Samara region.
In 2/3 of cases, parents created drafts of applications in advance. This allowed them to submit them at the moment of opening enrollment — in many schools, the order of submission affects the decision on admission.
Among the regions with the highest number of applications, the leaders are:
Sverdlovsk region — 43.4 thousand;
Saint Petersburg — 40.4 thousand;
Tatarstan — 35.3 thousand;
Dagestan — 31.6 thousand;
Bashkortostan — 31.0 thousand.
Among future first-graders, 49% are girls, and 51% are boys.
The second wave of enrollment will begin on July 6. Applications will be accepted in schools where there are free places remaining after the first stage.
The State Services service for enrollment in the first grade has been in operation since 2022. Currently, it is available in all regions except Moscow, the Moscow region, and the Donetsk People's Republic.
