Emotional experiences were named as the cause of heart and body destruction.
Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, president of the "League of Health of the Nation," and chief freelance specialist in cardiovascular surgery of the Ministry of Health of Russia Leo Bokeria stated in an interview that strong emotional experiences go far beyond psychological discomfort. According to him, such states can cause physical pain and directly affect the destruction of tissues and organs, including the heart, reports the publication "RIA Novosti."
The specialist emphasized the inseparable connection between mental and physical health, noting that ignoring this interconnection is dangerous. However, the main message of his address is not a warning, but an effective behavior tactic. He advised not to focus on the negative aspects of life, but to consciously turn the situation around: to turn negatives into positives and even extract useful experience from the most difficult crises.
Bokeria clarified that this approach allows one to use failures as a kind of "fuel" for personal growth. In his opinion, this helps to become smarter, stronger, and more confident in moving forward, without wasting the body's resources on fruitless experiences that lead to its destruction.
