The widow and the two-year-old son of a soldier from the special military operation in the Kirov region have been granted access to the deceased's account.
In the Bogorodsky District of the Kirov Region, a prosecutor's inspection has been completed following a complaint from the widow of a participant in the special military operation. The woman reported an issue related to her husband's money, which remained in his account after his death.
It was established that the deceased serviceman was serving in the area of the special military operation. At the time of his death, nearly 400,000 rubles had accumulated in his bank account as military pay. However, the heir faced the problem that, although the other inherited property had already passed into her ownership, she could not dispose of the funds in the account. This also affected expenses for their common two-year-old child.
The supervisory authority, assessing the situation, filed a lawsuit in court. The demand was to establish a legal fact necessary for recognizing rights to the monetary funds. The basis for the appeal was the need to protect the social and property interests of both the widow and the minor son of the deceased.
The Bogorodsky District Court fully satisfied the prosecutor's claims. After the decision came into effect, the widow was able to formalize ownership of the military pay. As emphasized in the prosecutor's message, all funds will be used in the interests of the minor child.
