The prosecutor's office helps a resident of the Kiknur district recover stolen money.
According to the Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region, a 50-year-old resident of the Kiknur District became a victim of fraudsters. The criminals deceitfully stole 102,000 rubles from her. A criminal case has been initiated regarding this incident under the article on fraud.
During the investigation, police officers established that the stolen money was transferred to the accounts of so-called "droppers" — front persons through whom the fraudsters cash out the funds. The account holders reside in the Kurgan and Novosibirsk regions.
Since the victim cannot independently defend her rights in court due to difficult life circumstances, the prosecutor's office has filed claims to recover the amount of unjust enrichment from the droppers, as well as interest for the use of someone else's monetary funds.
One of the claims has already been satisfied by the court. The second claim is under consideration. The enforcement of the court decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office. The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported on the phrases used by fraudsters to exert pressure. Residents of Kirov have given fraudsters more than 732 million rubles since the beginning of the year. A Kirov pensioner lost 1.4 million due to a housing chat.
