A new deputy has been appointed in the Prosecutor's Office of the Kirov Region.
On July 1, the head of the Kirov region prosecutor's office, Yuri Ryvaev, introduced his new deputy to the staff of the agency. This position was taken by Sergey Klopunov.
According to the prosecutor's office, Klopunov was born in 1984 in the city of Buzuluk, Orenburg region. He graduated from Orenburg State University. In 2007, he began his service in the prosecutor's office in his home region. Among other positions, he held the roles of district prosecutor and head of the regional prosecutor's office management.
On June 22, 2026, the Attorney General of the Russian Federation issued an order for his appointment as deputy prosecutor of the Kirov region. Over the years of service, Klopunov received badges of honor such as "Honored Worker of the Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation," "For Loyalty to the Law" of the third degree, and the anniversary medal "300 Years of the Prosecutor's Office of Russia."
