A Kirov resident was injured while trying to stop a truck.

      The State Labor Inspection for the Kirov Region conducted an additional investigation into the accident involving a driver from the KUU-4 company. The incident occurred during working hours. The driver sustained a minor injury to his right shoulder joint. After this, the man disagreed with the conclusions of the employer's internal commission and appealed to the State Labor Inspection. During the inspection, it was revealed that the service vehicle, which was parked by the curb, unexpectedly began to move down the street on its own. At that moment, the driver was not at the wheel. In an attempt to stop the car, the man fell onto the roadway and was injured. Specialists determined that the main cause of the incident was the lack of measures that should have prevented the spontaneous movement of the vehicle. Additionally, the inspection identified other violations. In particular, the injured party was issued a report on the accident late, the deadlines for keeping the instruction log were violated, and the worker was allowed to work independently without training in labor protection. He was also not provided with personal protective equipment, and an unscheduled special assessment of working conditions was not conducted. As a result of the investigation, the employer may be issued orders to rectify the violations.
