Cars and their maintenance will become even more expensive: the main changes in July for drivers

      According to the portal Autonews.ru, citing experts, Russians may face a price increase of 3-5% for mass-market cars in July, while the increase for vehicles imported through parallel imports will be around 8%. Car service costs may also rise slightly by 1-2% due to a shortage of personnel and an aging vehicle fleet among Russians. Along with the rising car prices, the rules for issuing auto loans are becoming stricter. Starting July 1, only 90% of unofficial income will be considered when calculating debt load. Additionally, drivers whose driver's licenses were automatically extended in July 2023 must change their licenses, as the grace period has expired.
