The company in Kirovo-Chepetsk was fined for hiring a former employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

In Kirovo-Chepetsk, the city prosecutor's office checked compliance with anti-corruption legislation regarding the employment of former civil servants in commercial structures. The supervisory authority's attention was drawn to a local organization that hired a former employee of a correctional facility of the regional FSIN. During the inspection, it was revealed that the employer signed an employment contract but did not send information about this to the former place of service of the new employee within the established timeframe. Such inaction falls under Article 19.29 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation, which establishes liability for involving former civil servants (whose positions are included in a special list) in labor activities in violation of anti-corruption requirements. The prosecutor initiated an administrative case. Following the review of the materials, the guilty party was held accountable with a fine of 20,000 rubles. The prosecutor's office noted that the violation has been rectified: a notification to the former place of service of the employee has been sent.
