It became known where it is better not to swim in the Kirov region.
The Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing in the Kirov Region has been conducting laboratory water quality control at recreational areas near water bodies since June 1. Currently, 104 samples taken from beaches have been tested. The range of analyses is broad: 79 samples were checked for microbiology, 25 for sanitary-chemical indicators, and another 12 for parasitology. In the latter case, there are no unsatisfactory results.
Most water bodies met the standards. The list of clean areas includes the city beach and Fileyskiy beach in Kirov, zones near the Timber Processing Plant and Skiing Combine, Lake Russkoye in Chistyye Prudy, and the ponds of Doronichye, Strizhi, Bolshoy Kirsinskiy, Belokholunitskiy, and Omutninskiy. Also without remarks are the Vyatka River near Slobodskoy, Urzhumka, Voya in Nolina, Cheptsa in Kirovochepetsk and Falyonki, water bodies in Sovetsk, Pizhan, Verkhoshizhemye, Yaran, Kiknur, and other settlements listed in the agency's report.
However, three locations have been identified as problematic based on microbiological indicators:
- The Vyatka River near the village of Tsepochkino;
- The Vyatka River near the village of Russkiy Turek in the Urzhumsky District;
- The Pismanka River in the Nemsky District.
It is specifically at these points that the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing does not recommend swimming.
At the same time, all tested samples meet the requirements for sanitary-chemical parameters. No pathogenic microorganisms or intestinal viruses were found in the water of any of the water bodies.
The agency reminds that for swimming, it is advisable to choose only specially equipped and permitted beaches where control is conducted regularly. Water quality checks in the region continue, and new results will be reported additionally.
