Kirov enterprises saved almost 900 million rubles, and milk yields approached record levels.
According to the government, since 2022, participants in the "Labor Productivity" project have achieved an economic effect of 888 million rubles. To date, 54 out of 61 projects have been completed, and another seven are planned to be implemented by the end of the current year.
Thanks to the implementation of lean production tools, companies have managed to reduce production process times by an average of 35%, increase labor productivity per employee by 20%, and decrease the volume of unfinished production by 45%.
In addition, the project's implementation has brought an additional 225 million rubles in tax revenues to the budget. Authorities expect that by 2030, 40% of medium and large industrial enterprises in the region, as well as all state and municipal social organizations, will be involved in the project.
The government noted that the principles of lean production are gradually being implemented not only in enterprises but also in healthcare, education, culture, sports, and social protection institutions. By the end of the year, it is planned to expand the number of organizations using best practices for increasing labor productivity.
Milk production continues to grow.
The second issue of the meeting was the development of animal husbandry.
Today, agricultural organizations produce the majority of livestock products in the region — they account for 92.8% of the total production volume, or 58.4 billion rubles. The share of farms is 0.8%, and households account for 6.4%.
Over the past five years, livestock production in the Kirov region has significantly increased. For example, the production of livestock and poultry for slaughter has grown by 38%. Pork production has increased by 20%, and poultry production has nearly increased eightfold. During this period, poultry meat production has risen by 27,000 tons, pork by 21,600 tons, and the output of chicken eggs has increased by almost 100 million pieces.
Milk production is also on the rise. If in 2018, the region produced 505.2 thousand tons of milk, by 2024 this figure reached 857.7 thousand tons, and in 2025 it grew to 881.8 thousand tons.
More than 3 billion rubles invested in farms.
From 2022 to 2025, 23 investment projects were implemented in the region with state support. During this time, 10 modern dairy farms were built for nearly 6.7 thousand head of cattle, 11 calf barns for more than 2.6 thousand places, and two farms were modernized.
The total investment volume exceeded 3.3 billion rubles.
At the same time, the digitalization of the industry continues. Today, 109 robotic milking installations and one robotic milking parlor for 60 places are operating in 19 agricultural organizations.
Along with modernization, animal productivity is also increasing. If in 2005 the average milk yield per cow was 3,774 kg, by 2025 this figure had reached 9,196 kg. In breeding farms, it is even higher — almost 9.7 tons of milk per cow per year.
