The children's ombudsman has taken control of a family in the Kirov region.
In the Kirov region, a family under the care of the children's rights commissioner was identified. Work with them began after a visit from children's ombudsman Maria Lvova-Belova, who visited the mother of two small children and promised to help in returning the children to the family.
After that, specialists conducted work as part of the All-Russian Inspection of the Social Orphanhood Prevention System (VISP). The woman was provided with legal consultations, and the children were eventually returned to the family.
However, the mother still faced difficulties: she raises the children alone, without support and stable income. To help the family, a charitable foundation was involved in the solution.
As a result, the family received targeted assistance. Part of the costs for the older child's kindergarten was covered, necessary medications were purchased, orthopedic sandals for the younger child were provided, and a children's bicycle was given. The family was also offered regular support — about 10,000 rubles monthly for groceries.
The children's mother thanked the specialists for their help and noted that the support was exactly what was needed at this time. The family continues to be monitored by the children's rights commissioner in the Kirov region.
