The Investigative Committee has begun an investigation into the death of a man in a fire in the Shabalinsky district.

      Today we wrote about a fire that occurred on the night of June 20 in one of the houses on Dorožnaya Street in the urban-type settlement of Lenin's. After extinguishing the fire, the emergency services discovered the body of a 58-year-old man. The Kotel'nich inter-district investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov region is conducting a preliminary investigation. According to preliminary data, the cause of the fire may have been careless handling of fire while smoking. Investigators examined the scene of the incident, and other verification activities are being carried out. Based on the results of the investigation, a procedural decision will be made.
