The GTO Festival in Kirov is changing its location.
In Kirov, the venue for the festival dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the region has been adjusted. The reason for this change was the weather forecast: the expected weather conditions would not allow the competitions to be held at the "Isko" stadium with the necessary level of comfort and safety. Now all stages of the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" festival will take place at the Olympic Reserve Sports School "Veresniki" located at: Sredny Lane, 15.
The regional operator of the GTO explained that the move to an indoor arena is a necessary but fully justified measure. It allows for the originally scheduled date to be maintained, protects athletes and spectators from bad weather, and, importantly, ensures ideal conditions for meeting the standards. No adjustments to the program are anticipated.
The festival is open to everyone aged six and older. The organizers emphasize that this is a chance not only to test oneself but also to officially confirm one's level of training, aiming for the gold badge of distinction. Among the disciplines are running at various distances, push-ups, pull-ups, and standing long jump.
As for the regulations, they remain the same: registration and warm-up start at 8:30, the official opening is scheduled for 10:00, and the main sports part begins at 10:40.
