The Kirov region government: there are sufficient fuel reserves.
The Ministry of Energy and Housing and Utilities of the Kirov Region officially commented on the situation regarding fuel sale restrictions at gas stations in the region. The agency stated that fuel reserves in the Kirov Region are at a sufficient level. This information was confirmed both by the company "Dvizhenie," which recently introduced limits on gasoline dispensing, and by "Lukoil." The ministry explained that at "Lukoil" gas stations, there is currently a restriction of a maximum of 100 liters of gasoline per customer. However, drivers are not prevented from refueling at the same gas station again on the same day. Diesel fuel at "Lukoil" stations is dispensed without restrictions. The agency emphasized that the introduced restrictions for "Lukoil" are a nationwide trend, not a local problem. No other restrictions are planned for the region. It was also noted that the limits do not apply to emergency and special services transport.
Let us remind you that today, June 16, the "Dvizhenie" gas station network in the Kirov Region introduced limits on fuel sales: gasoline — no more than 30 liters per day, diesel fuel — up to 100 liters. At "Lukoil" gas stations, the sale of gasoline in any container, including cans, has been prohibited. Also today, the Federal Antimonopoly Service initiated a case against three oil traders — JSC "Solid Commodity Markets," LLC "Agritorg YUG," and LLC "Hansel." They are suspected of colluding on the exchange: the companies bought up all the fuel and resold it at inflated prices.
