The world court issued a ruling against a resident of the Kirov region who, in April, hunted a beaver without a hunting license and permission, and during closed seasons. The court imposed a penalty in the form of a one-year hunting ban. The hunting rifle and ammunition were returned to the owner — the weapon was not confiscated from the offender. The damage caused to wildlife was estimated at 18,000 rubles. As clarified by the ministry, if the citizen does not voluntarily compensate for the damage, the agency will file a lawsuit in court. The ministry reminds hunters: it is necessary to observe the deadlines and rules of hunting, always carry documents with them, and not risk their right to hunt because of one illegal shot.
