      According to the administration of Slobodsky, the water level in the Vyatka River remains very high. The area of the beach, where residents usually sunbathe and swim, has not yet been cleared of water. Authorities have signed municipal contracts for the inspection and cleaning of the riverbed by divers, for testing water and sand samples, for equipping and maintaining the beach, as well as for treating the beach against ticks. However, contractors cannot begin to fulfill the contracts.

      The administration also reported that in May, employees of the "Slobodsky Rescue Station" underwent professional retraining. They work around the clock and periodically patrol the river. Meanwhile, employees of the education and youth policy department are organizing the work of the "Parent Patrol."
