A foreigner arrived in Kirov to work without a patent — he was found at the train station.
In Kirov, the operation "Illegal-2026" continues. Employees of the Kirov Transport Police Department are conducting mass checks at transportation industry facilities. One such raid yielded results right at the railway station.
Police checked the documents of a 35-year-old man — a citizen of one of the neighboring republics of Russia. Upon entering the country, he indicated the purpose as "work." However, the foreigner did not obtain a work permit. Moreover, he had not actually worked anywhere. Such behavior constitutes a violation of the residence regime in the Russian Federation.
An administrative responsibility ruling was issued against the man under part 2 of article 18.8 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. The penalty is a fine of 2,000 rubles.
As clarified by the transport police, within the framework of the operation "Illegal-2026," inspectors are checking not only individuals but also legal entities and individual entrepreneurs. They inquire about documents, permits, and health insurance policies from foreigners.
At the same time, preventive talks are being held at railway stations in Kirov and the region. Foreigners are explained the importance of lawful behavior and respect for Russians. Thematic informational brochures are handed out as a keepsake. The raids continue.
