The roads in the center of Kirov will be given to pedestrians on Russia Day.

      In Kirov, more than 30 festive events are planned for Russia Day. The main attractions are Theater Square, parks, squares, and Oktyabrsky Avenue. According to the press service of the administration, part of the streets will be closed to traffic for safety reasons.

      The first restriction will be the day before. From 6 AM to 5 PM on June 11, it will be prohibited to drive or park on Kazanskaya Street — between Krasnoarmeyskaya and Orlovskaya.

      On June 12, there will be more closures. From 6 AM to 9 PM, the following areas will be restricted:

      Defenders of the Fatherland — from Preobrazhenskaya to Spasskaya;

      the access to Theater Square at house No. 63 on Vladimirskaya;

      Moscow Street on the north and south sides of the government buildings (from Defenders of the Fatherland to Vsevyatskaya).

      From 6 AM to 4 PM on June 12, Oktyabrsky Avenue will be closed. Note: for all vehicles — from Vorovsky to Nekrasov, for trolleybuses — from Krasnoarmeyskaya to Nekrasov. During this same period, the following streets will be closed:

      Krasnoarmeyskaya — from Vsevyatskaya to Gorky;

      Proletarskaya — from Vsevyatskaya to Oktyabrsky Avenue;

      Militsionnaya — from Vsevyatskaya to Oktyabrsky Avenue;

      Azina — from Oktyabrsky Avenue to Gorky.

      A short but separate restriction will be in place from 11 AM to 3 PM on June 12: access will be prohibited on Pioneer Lane. The exception will be vehicles of exhibition participants.

      And one more block of closures will occur after the holiday, on June 13. From 6 AM to 10 PM, movement, stopping, and parking will be prohibited:

      on Defenders of the Fatherland (from Preobrazhenskaya to Spasskaya);

      on the access road to Theater Square at house No. 63 on Vladimirskaya;

      in the parking lots on Vladimirskaya — from the Shalyapin monument to house No. 36 on Moscow;

      on Moscow Street along the north and south sides of the government buildings (from Defenders of the Fatherland to Vsevyatskaya).
