More than 3,000 schoolchildren from Kirov are preparing to take the Unified State Exam in social studies and physics.

      The examination campaign in the Kirov region is gaining momentum. The next test for eleventh graders is scheduled for Wednesday, June 11 — on this day, the Unified State Exam (USE) in social studies and physics will take place. According to Galina Marenina, the director of the Center for Quality Education Assessment (an organization under the regional Ministry of Education), 2,114 participants have registered for social studies, and 948 for physics. Preparation for the exams is in full swing. Organizers will use 54 examination points for the USE. About 3,073 people will ensure order and the technical side of the process: among them are organizers, technical specialists, and observers. In addition, 65 public observers will assist with monitoring at the examination points. The exams also differ in structure. In the materials for social studies, graduates will need to solve 25 tasks, while for physics, there are 26. The time allotted is also different: 3 hours and 30 minutes for social studies, and 3 hours and 55 minutes for physics. Additional resources are not allowed to be used during the exams.
