Sokolov ordered to "check the motives" of the former head of the Orichevsky district.
During the meeting, Governor Alexander Sokolov, speaking about the execution of assignments, gave an example of "how not to do it." According to him, the former head of the Orichy district, Alexey Lyskhov, had previously approached the government with a request for help in arranging sidewalks on several streets in Orichi.
"Perhaps initiative is needed, but it's unclear who for," Sokolov said. "Residents were offered to vote for it, but over three years it did not gain any votes. Other areas in Orichi were supported for improvement. What the head meant when he approached the government is unclear."
The governor asked Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Luchinin to "check the motives" of the former head and to find out whether he had any personal interests and whether those very sidewalks lead to his house. "In the future, before making requests, ask the residents if they need it or not," Sokolov addressed the heads of municipalities.
