Frisky and uncooperative: two moose calves were released in Kirov and sent to a farm.

      Volunteers of the "Big Nest" are traditionally overwhelmed with small charges in the spring. But this season, among the usual little birds, there was an unexpected addition: almost the entire second half of May, the rescuers spent with two moose calves.

      As the center itself admits, the little ones turned out to have quite a character. They were feisty and uncooperative — they flatly refused to take the milk bottle, tended to butt heads, and at the same time, they would crowd around their caregivers' legs. They also gave the staff "unforgettable moments of tick searching," as they later wrote with irony in the organization's group.

      Nevertheless, they managed. By the time it was time to send the grown moose to a specialized moose farm, the behavior of the little ones had changed dramatically. Both stopped butting heads and finally learned how to drink milk from the bottle. The older calf even started following the bottle — apparently, he had fully settled in.

      Now, as reported by the organization, everything is fine with the calves at the farm.
