A resident of Kirov will be tried for financing an extremist organization.

      In Kirov, a 62-year-old local resident will be tried. He is accused under part 1 of article 282.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (financing an extremist organization) and part 2 of article 294 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (obstructing an investigation). As reported by the Investigative Committee, in October 2021, the man transferred money to the account of an organization banned in Russia and recognized as extremist to support its activities. In addition, when the citizen was in the investigator's office, he grabbed his phone, which had been seized during a search and recognized as material evidence, hit it several times against the table, and threw it on the floor, ultimately breaking it. As a result, investigators were unable to extract any information from it. Recently, the materials of the criminal case were sent to court.
