Kirov sambo wrestlers got it full force.

      The national championship in sambo among masters has concluded in Kemerovo. Such a convoluted wording is simple: "masters" means veterans.

      The competition gathered about 500 athletes from 45 regions. The Kirov region was represented by three athletes, all of whom became prize winners. Master of Sports Ruslan Mikhailov won a gold medal, thereby earning a place in the Russian national team and a ticket to the World Championship. Dmitry Prokopyev and Mikhail Chebotary became bronze medalists of the competition.
