In the center of Kirov, traffic will be blocked on several streets for Russia Day.

      Where traffic will be completely closed on June 12 (from 06:00 to 21:00):

      Defenders of the Fatherland Street — from Preobrazhenskaya to Spasskaya;

      the passage to Theater Square at house No. 63 on Vladimirskaya Street;

      Moscow Street — along the northern and southern sides of the buildings of the Kirov region government (from Defenders of the Fatherland to Vsesvetskaya).

      From 06:00 to 16:00 on June 12:

      October Avenue — from Vorovsky to Nekrasov;

      Krasnoarmeyskaya Street — from Vsesvetskaya to Gorky;

      Proletarskaya Street — from Vsesvetskaya to October Avenue;

      Militsiya Street — from Vsesvetskaya to October Avenue;

      Azina Street — from October Avenue to Gorky.

      Also, from 11:00 to 15:00 on June 12, Pioneer Lane will be closed (except for vehicles of participants in the car exhibition), and from 19:00 on June 11 to 18:00 on June 12 and June 13, a ban on stopping and parking will be introduced in the listed areas, as well as in the parking lots on Vladimirskaya Street.

      We remind you that earlier Governor Alexander Sokolov decided to move the celebration of City Day, which was traditionally celebrated on June 12. Starting in 2025, a new holiday has been established at the legislative level in the Kirov region — the Day of the Foundation of the City of Kirov (Khlynov — Vyatka — Kirov), which is now celebrated on September 22.
